Cool Mission Statement

I was in Zaxbys yesterday and I came across their Mission Statement. In fact, they print it on all their receipts. It reads:

"Consistently create encore experiences that enrich lives one person at a time."

Now...let's face it...all they deal with is chicken. We work at a television station...where often what we have to say effects lives! Should we also have a similar mission statement for what we do at 17? No matter what you do...whether it is run robos...play out video...call up graphics...floor direct...run audio...or even direct shows...we should take what we do seriously and with a great deal of pride.

Yes from time to time, we do the same stories, about the same things...over and over again. But keep in mind...even though WE'VE seen it over and over, doesn't mean the general public has. Just think...the next story could speak to someone that has turned to our station for the first time!

Take pride in what you do here at 17. You are making a difference and I appreciate all that you guys do!
